THE DREAM LINGERS ON

Despite the endless failures or at best, massive disappointments of every ›lying car or ›lying-car-like product ever, brave and insane engineer-entrepreneurs keep banging away at this idea. The latest trend is for the ›ixed-wing ›lying cars (and “roadable” planes) to ditch their old-school propellers and aerodynamic surfaces, and turn into gigantic drones, basically. Multi-rotor seems to be the idea now, which as far as we’re concerned just proves what we’ve been saying all along: the ›lying car was invented decades ago, and we ’ve had ›lying cars since before World War 2. They’re called “helicopters”.…
