The poetry and writings of an outsider is a collection of poetry and short fiction as well as some autobiographical sketches from an author living on the outside of society. Never fully integrated into his society, he feels like he has always been on the outside looking in and his stories are a reflection of that.
The stories range from Orwellian science fiction to juvenile and fairy tales and a variety of personas in the poetry. Written as a rebellion and backlash against the literary publications of the day and their refusal to publish his work, the book has four categories: poetry, short stories, short shorts, and slice-of-life vignettes. It is a personal testament of the author and his life on the fringes of society.
