When the Bat-family finally got to leap out of Batman’s shadow, becoming the heroes of the game rather than being sidekicks relegated to cutscenes or DLC, the result split opinion among critics and (especially) the public. We said it then, and we’ll say it now: if you’re expecting this to be an Arkham game in all but name, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment.
