PRICE £29 (£35 inc VAT) from amazon.co.uk (pcpro.link/249fire) With Google’s Chrome cast ruling the TV-streaming roost, it’s a wonder that it’s taken so long for Amazon to release its rival in the UK. Available in the US since November 2014, the Fire TV Stick can now be had over here for a very reasonable £35. Hardware-wise, the Fire TV Stick is similar to Google’s dongle. Just like the Chromecast, it plugs directly and discreetly into an HDMI socket at the back of your TV; the only practical difference is that the USB power port is on the side rather than the end.
