PC Pro benchmarks 2015

If you’ve been paying attention, you may already have noticed something different about the graph at the bottom of this review, and the benchmark figures quoted for performance. Of this month, we’re retiring our old benchmarks and switching to a new set, ready to take on the multi-format, multi-platform future of computing. The new tests use open-source software to run a set of three benchmarks: a typical image-editing test, an intensive 4K video-editing test, and a tough multitasking test. The time taken to complete each test is compared with a reference machine, as usual, and the scores normalised.
