The 10th-generation version has begun to feel like a familiar classic, dropping the Home button and taking cues from the iPad Air to give maximum space for the screen with just enough bezel for comfortable handheld use. It’s only 0.9mm thicker, 1.2mm taller and 19g heavier than the mid-range 11in iPad, but you won’t notice much difference in a bag or in the hands. The distinctions become more apparent when you look at the screen and performance, but the iPad’s display is excellent for a tablet at this price.
