SCORE PRICE 38mm, £166 (£199 inc VAT) from apple.com With the launch of the £269 Apple Watch SE (see issue 315, p68), we thought time was up for the Series 3, but Apple has chosen to keep its cheapest smartwatch on sale. There’s no cellular option, with your two options being the 38mm model for £199 or the 42mm edition for £229. The obvious question is – other than cellular - what do you lose by opting for the Series 3? In terms of looks, only the distinctive red edging around the Digital Crown, with the rounded edges of the AMOLED screen an ever-present for all Apple Watches.
