Imagine a netbook of ten years ago in terms of footprint, but slimmed down, slathered in metal and gifted with one of the nicest screens you’ll find in a laptop under a grand. It’s a thing of beauty. Unlike most netbooks, this Surface also feels incredibly sturdy. That’s despite the bottom of the Laptop Go being finished in polycarbonate resin rather than metal, which makes it cheaper than it feels: there’s still a robustness here.
