Most 4X games have you start from nothing and building an empire that reaches the stars, or at least achieves a cultural victory over your opponents, but Yeild! does things differently. At the beginning of the game there is a monolithic central power, and you are one of a scrappy bunch of upstarts trying to bring it down. FIRST LOOK Now, if you spend much time thinking about the Roman Empire, you’ll know this is roughly what happened. It’s 401AD, and the peninsula-dwelling pasta-lovers are in decline.
