Dominique Lijuan Yancy is a graduate of McNeese State University located in Lake Charles, La. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2008, which allowed her to gain experience in the mental health field. After obtaining her Counselor in Training credentials in 2013, Dominique decided to gain more experience as an Addiction Counselor. She is also a member of the Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors and Trainers, Inc. While working in this field, Dominique became a counselor, a confidant, a problem solver, and now an author. She dedicates her time and energy to the community and to those who are in need of a breakthrough. While currently pursuing her Master's degree in Psychology, her work experience, generosity, and big heart has already helped many individuals, families, and relationships who struggle with not knowing how to Pause, Process, and Proceed.
