« De nuit en jour », Sarah Sze, à la Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, Paris XIVe , jusqu’au 30 mai. « De nuit en jour » est un tour de passe-passe… L’artiste new-yorkaise Sarah Sze a transformé la Fondation Cartier en lanterne magique. « Twice Twilight », la grande sphère dans l’espace principal, est un petit univers avec sa propre météo. Et comme si l’on zoomait à la surface de cette étrange planète, une autre oeuvre nous propulse sur une arène immaculée. De loin, c’est l’image un peu désespérée d’un monde abandonné, mais de près, cet univers de petits objets s’anime sous nos yeux. Inspirée par les observatoires astronomiques indiens, Sarah Sze nous montre sa façon à elle de mesurer le monde.…
