« BUGALED BREIZH » L’IMPOSSIBLE VÉRITÉ A 13 h 23, le 15 janvier 2004, le chalutier de Loctudy lance un SOS que relaie un autre chalutier. Les secours sont aussitôt lancés au large du cap Lizard. Deux hélicoptères, deux canots de sauvetage, un remorqueur et des bateaux de pêche patrouillent sur zone. Une heure après l’appel, un hélicoptère remonte deux corps. Trois canots de survie ont été repérés mais ils sont vides. Le « Bugaled Breizh » a coulé en moins d’une minute. Pourquoi ? à cause de qui ? L’épave, qui gisait par 80 mètres de profondeur, est remontée le 4 juillet mais la mer est démontée et l’épave ne sera déposée sur un quai de Falmouth que six jours plus tard.
