• September 7-8, 2024, Phillip Island, Vic 2024 sees the third year of this support category for three rounds of the ASBK championship, which winds up at The Bend Raceway, South Australia in November. The driving force behind the Superbike Masters was Darren Lark who passed away earlier this year at just 55 years of age. As a tribute to Darren, or ‘Big Daz’ as he was affectionately known, the Superbike Masters perpetual trophy will be named in his honour. Darren’s race number was 816, and a small ‘816’ decal appears on the competitors’ bikes. The series caters for Period 5 and Period 6 bikes (over 750 cc Forgotten Era, 1973-1982 and New Era, 1983-1990 respectively) which sees the Italians in the form of 851/888 and TT Ducatis, and YB6…
