A weekend for the old bikes

• September 7-8, 2024, Marulan, NSW The All-Historic Pre 1962, for 2, 3, 4 wheelers race meeting, acknowledging the event that began at Sydney’s Amaroo Park in 1976, took place in September 24th. When we arrived at the track on Saturday morning it was very wet, so the organisers reversed the practise sessions and put the cars out first to dry the track out, which was a success. There were about 35 historic racing cars, 20 historic bikes and 4 sidecars. Some of the solos entered were Norton Atlas, Triumph Tritons, AJS 7R, OK Supreme, Harley WLA, Rudge Special and a very nice Velocette KTT 350.
