By his own admission, Eric Sullivan was a part time racer with no ambitions or aspirations beyond the occasional outing on Sydney circuits. A member of Fairfield Club and a toolmaker by trade, Eric got his kicks at the club’s dirt circuit at Bungarribee on his ride-to-work bike. This led to slightly better equipment to allow him rides at the short-lived tar circuit at Parramatta Park and at Mount Druitt.
