On June 4, Bindi Irwin took to social media to pen a heartfelt tribute to her mom, Terri, and late father, Steve, on what would have been their 27th wedding anniversary. “Your love is everlasting, and shines brighter each and every day,” she wrote, also sharing a sweet photo of her parents. “They’ve served as an example to Bindi of what true love really is,” a source tells OK!, adding that even after Steve tragically passed in 2006 at age 44 following a stingray attack, Bindi was in awe of how her mother’s love for her dad never faded. “Bindi’s always said that she hopes to have a marriage like her parents did someday.” And now, she does.
