The car started life as a Ministry of Transport Traffic Safety Service patrol car, but ended up in the hands of Dean in 1985 when it was just four years old. After years of dropping the kids to school, it was then converted to a race car. It was sold later while Dean focused on touring car racing, before being repurchased not long after.
