Idéalement située entre le boulevard principal de Caraquet et sa baie, cette maison aux lignes sobres représente un retour aux sources pour ses hôtes. « Ils nous ont approchés en 2021 pour construire ce qu’ils appelaient “leur dernière maison” en revenant dans leur région natale », raconte l’architecte Marika Drolet-Ferguson, qui a orchestré le projet avec Mathieu Boucher-Côté. Le terrain est étroit sur un côté et leurs voisins sont vraiment proches, des contraintes que les architectes ont saisi comme une opportunité pour arriver à réaliser un projet privilégiant le confort et la commodité, où tous les espaces nécessaires au quotidien s’organisent de plain-pied.
