One of the top trending issues in today's church culture is identity. The pursuit of identity and its companion pursuit of freedom are widely accepted as noble pursuits. But all too often, what begins as a noble goal can result in the making of an idol. If we are to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, then even our search for identity and freedom must first begin with who Jesus is and His righteousness.
What if we have been looking in a mirror to find our image, when we should be looking to see the image of our Savior? And the mirror we thought we needed is obsolete because as we look deeper into the eyes of Jesus, we find that we are meant to be a mirror that reflects Him. What if you are His mirror image?
