Niklas Karlsson’s OCD was overwhelming him – so he used it to make one of 2020’s most exciting albums

“I SUFFER FROM really crippling obsessive compulsive disorder. It affects my everyday life continually, and it’s taken a while for family and friends and my band to really be able to know how to deal with it,” admits Orbit Culture guitarist and vocalist Niklas Karlsson. “It affects everything so much that it made sense to try and channel it into our music.” By making the choice to turn his OCD to his advantage, Niklas has inspired his band to write one of the most diversely exciting metal albums of the year.
