CONSIDER THIS: AS KIDS, WE WERE happiest when we were outside. That’s because trees were everything, and going into a forest was a dream come true. Sounds familiar, right? As we’ve grown and the world has grown with us, we’ve become somewhat hostile to the idea of nature, falling into the cycle of convenience and instantaneity. Yet, the sight of a tree is still marvellous, and it still makes one smile. In the modern urban landscape, the illusion of being in the forest has become the peg for many building developers, and with good reason. It still symbolises cleanliness, imagination and a certain sense of freedom. Greenery is not just therapeutic for the eyes, but also for the mind.
