Reimagining Leadership
Redeeming Measurement
Embracing Visualization
The challenges of Church leadership are formidable.
We are not alone. All societal sectors are wrestling with the unfathomable realities of 21st century culture. It truly is an unprecedented time. Many of us yearn for change and guidance for a way forward. Yet, little is forthcoming from the places we have traditionally relied on. They have the same struggles. We all have a common enemy in the status quo.
However, we have all we need within us.
We are the Church, with Jesus Christ as the head, is more than enough. There are leadership adaptations we can make to create a path forward. Through reimagining leadership, we can reclaim dormant leadership functions, embrace Christ's organizational imperative, and activate the latent power in our generational differences. By redeeming measurement, we can free ourselves from the assumptions that keep us trapped and frustrated, to allow us to pursue what we know in our hearts and souls to be true. Through embracing visualization, we can make better sense of our work in the world and communicate in a manner that allows all people to find their place.
This pathway is approachable.
It will take a strong network of change stewards, and for those of us who desire to be agents of change we are not alone. Now is the time. Society has never been more receptive to the fullness of the gospel since the birth of Jesus. This book outlines the "what" and "why" of these leadership adaptations. But ultimately, it is an invitation to together discover "how" change can emerge.
