This work is divided into two formats; essays, and biblical expositions, and set in three major sections. The first section is composed of essays based on faith-related topics; some that stem from biblical texts; others that were born out of life experiences that were guided in faith. The second section is devoted to expositions from various passages, and is arranged in chronological order as they appear in the biblical canon. The third section comprises both essays and expositions; all based on Christian and national holidays, and special celebrations set in keeping with the calendar year.
The inspiration for these writings; though largely biblical at their core, were inspired by real-life thoughts and events that happened on the farm, the streets of the inner-city, in courthouses, and counseling sessions where the author perceived God at work in the lives of people who were searching for a faith that works for them.
The author has attempted to present the book to as diverse an audience as possible; from those with little or no Christian experience or biblical background, to others who are serious students of the Bible and Christian Theology. "Journeys in the Christian Experience...... a biblical approach to life and faith" serves as a tool that will aid the reader in responding to God's message, and undergird existing faith with a perception of life that binds the two together.
