The journey of Soul-remembrance begins with a simple inquiry, "Who am I?" Am I this limited and fragile body, fated to grow old and die? Am I this mind, roiling with endless streams of thought? Am I my past with its joys and sorrows, loves and hates, laughter and tears, embraced in an endless dance? Am I my future with its hopes and promises yet to be, or am I something else, something more? Could I be eternal, boundless Spirit personified?
All enlightenment traditions tell us we are Souls flourishing outside the boundaries of time, space, and circumstance in this ever-present moment. We are threads of the one cloth of consciousness, uniquely expressing our blessed existence in the color of spiritual splendor. We are infinite spiritual beings using these bodies and minds to share our divinity with the world. We have only to awaken, recognize, and claim it.
