There are 5 different types of puzzles in this book, Diagonal Jigsaw Sudoku, Anti-diagonal Jigsaw Sudoku, Girandola jigsaw Sudoku, Jigsaw Windoku, Consecutive jigsaw Sudoku.

The book has 90 puzzles for each type from easy to hard, a total of 450 puzzles with solutions.

  • Jigsaw Sudoku is variation of classic sudoku where the 3x3 blocks are no longer square, instead it's irregular region of 9 cells, and all numbers from 1 to 9 must be fit inside with no repetition in any row or column or region. As twisted as it sounds, these puzzles are challenging and addictive.
  • Diagonal jigsaw Sudoku or Jigsaw Sudoku X is like classic sudoku in the rules where no repetition of numbers in any column or row or block. The difference between classic Sudoku and Sudoku x or diagonal sudoku is the extra constrain or rule where the numbers 1 to 9 must fit in the diagonal lines and no repetition of any number in the diagonals marked by the gray big X lines.
  • The Anti-diagonal variation is an added extra step to make solving the puzzles a little challenging. Where the diagonal lines should only have at most three different numbers. Repeated numbers are okay in the diagonal line, that is why it's called anti-diagonal. Other sudoku rules as no repetition in the blocks, rows and columns should be followed.
  • Girandola Jigsaw Sudoku has the same rules as Jigsaw Sudoku plus an additional rule where the scatted shaded cells must contain the numbers 1 to 9 with no repetition in those shaded cells.
  • Jigsaw Windoku has extra four (3x3) blocks (shaded) where the numbers 1 to 9 can fit in without repetition, so there are the 9 blocks and the extra four shaded blocks making in total 13 overlapping regions.
  • Consecutive Sudoku is a variation of traditional sudoku with the same rules, i.e. numbers from 1 to 9 to be placed in every row, column, and block without repetition.
However, consecutive Sudoku takes it little further by consecutive condition, where there are little rectangles or rods between cells that contain consecutive numbers. If there is nothing between the cells, then the numbers on those neighbor cells may have non-consecutive numbers.
