A 2010 television beer commercial said, “We (Canadians) have more square feet of awesomeness per person than any other nation in the world.” The commercial showed natural vistas that ranged from coastal seascapes, the Rocky Mountains, The Prairies, the Great Lakes and the Maritimes, all of which were absolutely stunning. That commercial instilled a sense of national pride and shared what it is to be a Canadian. Of course, it was designed to sell beer, one of the essential food groups in any Canadian diet.
