On a FAMILY holiday, Quentin Long finds his EXPECTATIONS are absolutely not met by reality. But is that a BAD THING?

“I am not a cruiser,” says my wife. It's not a remarkable statement. Except for the fact we are on a cruise ship. And it's the fourth family cruise we've had and the fifth time she has cruised with me. “My kids are cruisers,” is her qualifying retort. I laugh while sipping on my second glass of Champagne. We are eating at Chops Grille, my favourite restaurant on Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas. Jamie's Italian remains the non-cruiser's favourite onboard eatery.
