With backgrounds in fashion and a sound knowledge of design and aesthetics, the owners of this home in Sydney’s Newtown had a clear vision for their new kitchen. “The clients wanted something that was classic and minimal yet modern, timeless, functional and beautiful,” says Alice Villella of Alice Villella Interior Design (AV-ID). Located in a new extension, the kitchen had to feel united with the adjoining living and alfresco areas while remaining the hero of the space.
