Opening our homes section is an inhouse treat – a basketball/ handball ‘court’ in a 3.3m-high Sydney garage. The brainchild of interior designer Melissa Koch, it’s a large single car space with stencilled epoxy flooring installed by HP Constructions. Husband Jeremy found the Spalding hoop and Melissa had a scoreboard (not shown) customised by El Oso Negro. One thing’s for sure, getting the kids off their screens is no longer a problem.
