VITAMIX ASCENT SERIES 2500i BLENDER I have a food processor, so I was interested to see the value-add of this blender. When unpacking it, first impressions were that it was simple in design and looked easy to use. I was right. It’s straightforward and functional, and didn’t take up too much bench real estate – a big plus for me. Once my vegetables were ready to blend, I was impressed that Vitamix blenders can blend any wholefood ingredients (hot or cold) into a piping hot soup mixture within minutes. I went on to make a minted pea soup from the Vitamix site, which not only blends but cooks (aside from the onion) the ingredients in the blender – such an incredible, time-saving feature.
