With experience in architecture, fine art and curatorial practices, it comes as no surprise that Layla Cluer’s work is refined and polished. Describing her pieces as convivial, colourful and sometimes clever, Layla says her vast skill set brings a unique perspective to her role as a ceramicist. “I would say that each of the three disciplines feeds into the way I design today, as well as the way I run my business, Softedge Studio.
