Aud Mark Browning Landscape Design A touching tribute to his late mother Audrey, Mark Browning’s garden is a celebration of her love of gardening. “It’s organic in shape and a fusion of mixed plantings and offbeat structural landscape ideas,” he says. The pavilion, constructed from cumaru (South American timber) and draped with bronzed kaynemail (architectural mesh) is “the sort of thing she’d have her cup of tea in every morning”. Shards of large basalt bluestone steppers encourage slow exploration of the landscape, while the drystone walling – with earth-encrusted bluestone offcuts – is the highlight of the garden, which was constructed by Kiama Landscapes & Pools. “There are more than 68 tonnes of stone,” says Mark.
