DESIGN NOTES Eton Beach House has a beautiful and practical material palette. The windows and doors are sleek matt-black aluminium, and the fittings include American-oak flooring, porcelain tiles and Japanese ceramics (from Artedomus), with bathroom hardware by Brodware. Skye chose an Escea outdoor fireplace for the deck, and interior furniture and lighting by the likes of Ferm Living, Thonet and Douglas & Bec. Key players in the project were: Nathan Crump (architect); Inhabit Construction; Dai Philpot (stone); MG Steel; Merritt Joinery; Clearview Windows & Doors; TH Tiling; Hamelink Electrical; and McKay Timber (spotted-gum decks, cladding).…
