Originally built in 1975, this spectacular holiday home in Byron Bay had been renovated a few times overs the years, but each was inconsistent and messy. It wasn’t until the latest owners, a family of five, reached out to Louise Walsh Interior Design (LWID) at Lennox Head, NSW, that the property finally got the TLC it deserved. “The owners found us via our website and, after meeting them at the house in December 2020 and completing a walkthrough to understand the scope of works, we presented them with their furniture options through our EDIT services,” says the firm’s principal, Louise Walsh. “They engaged us to complete the entire house [with furniture only] and then, after showing them layout options for a full-scale renovation, they also engaged us for our design services,…
