Michael Dow, author of Nurse Florence Children’s Educational Series, a winner in the 2023 Independent Press Award. There are over 40 titles in the series, many of which have won multiple awards. When he isn’t writing, Michael works as an RN at an inpatient psychiatric hospital, actually a third career for him! He served in the US Air Force for eight years and then spent another eight years as an Army Wounded Warrior advocate. Michael received his RN degree in 2020 from the University of Arizona. Book one of Nurse Florence debuted the same week. Michael lives in Arizona with his wife Perla and his three children.
