The Incantation of My Hands is Iyari's debut poetry book. The poetry collection is a journey of healing through uncovering the answers we've always housed in our bodies. Iyari is an Indigenous Poet and Theater Artist. She is a writer, a storyteller, and an arts advocate who believes in utilizing the arts as a powerful modality for healing and social justice. She has performed throughout the United States with Teatro Izcalli for most of her life and her artistic pursuits have led her to co-curate exhibits, organize workshops, and motivated her to receive her MA in Museum Studies from the University of San Francisco.
