THE PROBLEM The original en suite was badly designed with a tiny bath and no view THE SOLUTION ‘Extending the house on the ground floor meant we could expand upstairs, too. Stephen wanted a copper bath in our new bedroom en suite, so we found a stunning model at BC Designs and designed the space around it. I wanted the effect where you walk into the room and have a wow moment when you see the bath, and then another when you see the view. To achieve this, a central wall was built, with the bath on one side and the bed on the other. The wall was clad in large marble-effect porcelain tiles, which feel deeply luxurious.
