With a thick atmosphere teeming with organic compounds and stable liquids on its surface, many believe that Titan is among the most likely locations for life. We know that sunlight destroys methane so something must be replacing Titan’s atmospheric content; could this be an extraterrestrial life form? Of the 62 different moons that orbit Saturn, none possess the same potential to change the way we see our universe as Titan. Labelled by some as the most mysterious object in our Solar System, this moon is the largest orbiting Saturn and is the second largest overall; beaten only by Jupiter’s moon Ganymede.
