With the premature announcement of BMW’s new 750cc opposed twin, it would appear that the last of the big torquers has finally hit the deck. Truth of the matter is that for the moment they have, if you’ll believe that Yamaha’s 650 four-stroke, which is still undergoing final grooming here in the United States, doesn’t grow another l00cc by the time it makes the showroom. I’ve briefly ridden the Yamaha twice now, and each time it gets a little better — which is pretty strong. But for now let’s put the glass on this BMW 750, whose all-new design will complement their present 500 and 600 models that will also share this fresh engineering concept.
