“PIT-STOP” CONTEST WINNERS NAMED … Six lucky contestants in the “Pit-Stop” Drive Like a Pro Contest were each awarded a 1969 Buick GS 400 sports coupe. The nationwide contest was sponsored by Coca-Cola USA through local Coca-Cola bottlers, the Buick Division of General Motors, Petersen Publications, and Contact Marketing. The contest, which focused on safe driving techniques shown in a 30-minute color film entitled “Pit-Stop,” was open to licensed drivers through Petersen Publishing Company’s Hot Rod, Motor Trend, Car Craft, Sports Car Graphic, and ’Teen magazines. The film was available through participating Coca-Cola bottlers across the nation.
