In ISC A competition, car show contestants battle for more than a silver cup, as witness the prizes garnered by this year’s top three winners

The International Show Car Association recently concluded their 1968-’69 International Championship Auto Show circuit, comprised of 80 events, by awarding highly personalized cars to the points winners in each of three categories. The owners of the top competition, rod, and custom cars were presented with the keys to a Plymouth Road Runner “Probe,” a Fiberfab Jamaican, and an ATV Sand Shark dune buggy. In addition to the trophies and awards presented at each of the shows, the contestants amassed points counting toward the ISCA’s grand prizes. Grande Winner and Best Competition car was won by Terry Taylor’s “Fire Chief.” Terry participated in 16 ISCA-sanctioned shows, won 138 trophies and awards, and accumulated 691 points.
