October sure got here in a hurry, didn’t it? Seems like just last month we were attempting to piece together a story on the second running of the Mexican 1000. Now it’s time already for the third event bearing that name. Boy, is it ever that time! This year the event will begin on October 30, with tech inspection being held in Ensenada on the 29th. At this writing, the course will be the same as in the previous two years — Ensenada to La Paz, with eight or so checkpoints in between. Last year there were 254 entries, and for a time there was fear (yes, fear) that there would be far more than that. So the sanctioning organization (NOR-RA) has set a limit on the number of entries for…
