Roland Leong didn’t call it quits when his first funny car was lunched at the Pomona launching pad

Following a long string of top national wins with his fuel dragsters, Roland Leong decided to go the funny car route with a not-so-funny-looking Dodge Charger. As many will recall, his first machine met with disaster. Larry Reyes is the pilot again, and their Logghe chassis racer is doing its thing with ease. Logghe coil/shocks are used all around with the rear end being equipped with a Detroit Locker third member and Summers Brothers custom axles. Hurst/Airheart discs team up with a pair of Simpson drag chutes to bring the car to a safe stop. A Simpson harness is also relied upon in the cockpit. The mag wheels are evenly divided between E.T. at the rear, Halibrand at the front. Rubber is M & H and Pirelli. Exhibition Engineering designed…
