Headers are among the most widely used pieces of speed equipment; tubular steel exhaust replacement components are found on virtually every form of performance-oriented engine. Thus headers are always a point of cussin’ and discussin’ whenever rodders bench race. In an effort to answer some of the most commonly asked questions about headers, we’ve asked four men whose opinions and thoughts should be weighed the next time you start “snaking some tubing.”
The eight questions presented here were asked of all participants separately. Thus the answers of one had no bearing on those of the others.
