“T-BUCKET” BANDIT

Stealing the hearts of rod lovers everywhere, this little gem is also good at snatching show trophies

With a record of 27 trophies in 5 shows, “trophy-stealing bandit” is really an unfair name for this little jewel. This dream car began as the brainchild of Bill Arrington; after two years of tender loving care Bill sold the car to its present owner Jack Boothe. The two have since worked together to complete Bill’s dream car, and are to be congratulated on their almost fanatic attention to detail. Those trophies weren’t stolen; they were well-earned. Chrome radiator hoses; that’s real class. The roadster bucket is an original ’22 ‘T’ Ford body — no fiberglass imitation here. John Knox applied 90 coats of Royal Blue Metalflake lacquer to achieve that beautiful finish. Tubular front axle is from a ’37 Plymouth with ’32 Ford spindles and springs. Brakes are Buick.…
