In recent months there has been a tremendous demand for Hurst’s Line/Loc (also known as Roll Control) for automatic-equipped stockers and family-type street vehicles. And for stick-shift cars in hilly areas, the unit is a tremendous clutch-saver, mainly because it’s capable of holding the vehicle to any slope, even when the clutch is engaged. But most of all, the Line/Loc has become a favorite for automatic-equipped stock-type drag machines, and due to this current popularity, we decided to question Hurst’s West Coast “shifty doctor” and disc brake specialist, Dick Goold, on correct installation procedures and any other know-how that might come in handy.
