EL TESTAMENTO biográfico de Andrea Camilleri

Adolfo TORRECILLA Libro póstumo de Andrea Camilleri (1925-2019) que terminó de escribir antes de su fallecimiento. Se trata de un libro directamente biográfico en el que escribe una larga carta dirigida a su bisnieta Matilda, cuando Camilleri había cumplido los noventa y dos años y ésta tenía casi cuatro años. “Estas líneas mías –escribe el autor italiano–pretenden ser un pobre reemplazo de ese diálogo que nunca existirá entre nosotros”. Al comienzo del libro le dice a Matilda que espera “que puedas leerlo en la plenitud de tu juventud”. De manera directa, sencilla, yendo al grano, Camilleri habla de su vida sin muchas digresiones.
