LA ENCRUCIJADA VENEZOLANA

VENEZUELA SE HA CONVERTIDO EN EL PAÍS QUE CENTRA LA ATENCIÓN INTERNACIONAL, ESPECIALMENTE TRAS LA AUTOPROCLAMACIÓN DE JUAN GUAIDÓ EN DETRIMENTO DE NICOLÁS MADURO, COMO PRESIDENTE DEL PAÍS. ÉSTE HA DEJADO PASAR LOS DÍAS PARA QUE LAS COSAS VUELVAN A SU CAUCE NATURAL. DESDE ENTONCES, UNOS Y OTROS HAN DICHO TODO TIPO DE BARBARIDADES, MUCHAS DE ELLAS INCORRECTAS, SOBRE LA HISTORIA DEL PAÍS, ENVUELTA ENTRE LA RIQUEZA INMENSA QUE DA EL PETRÓLEO Y LAS POLÉMICAS DECISIONES DE LOS PRESIDENTES ANTERIORES A LA REVOLUCIÓN BOLIVARIANA. EN ESTE REPORTAJE MOSTRAMOS CÓMO FUE LA HISTORIA DEL SIGLO XX EN EL PAÍS HERMANO QUE CENTRA LA ATENCIÓN MUNDIAL.

Es posible que en la historia contemporánea de Venezuela no haya habido un momento tan determinante como el actual. Y eso es mucho decir para un pueblo que ha jalonado sus últimas décadas de momentos determinantes. Por ello, escribir sobre su reciente devenir no es tarea fácil ni algo que pueda pasar inadvertido en nuestra España, en cuyo ruedo político este pueblo hermano ha tenido una presencia tal vez excesiva o no suficientemente justificada, considerando los 7.000 km que nos separan y el paulatino retroceso en las relaciones comerciales bilaterales experimentado en los últimos años. De ese deterioro hablan las cifras de la Secretaría de Estado de Comercio que situaban en 2017 a Venezuela como el 99° cliente de España y el 64° como proveedor, cifras que no develan precisamente…
