Alrededor de una gran mesa en la que se representa el frente con una maqueta, vemos a una serie de personalidades que atienden las explicaciones de Enrique Líster. Entre los asistentes, un joven espigado sigue con gesto serio los movimientos representados en la maqueta. El año en que se tomó la fotografía fue 1938 y el joven en cuestión parece ser, ni más ni menos, que John Fitzgerald Kennedy, el futuro trigésimo quinto presidente de los Estados Unidos y, sin duda, uno de los más mediáticos.
