ACUEDUCTO DE SEGOVIA El acueducto más famoso de España es el de Segovia, que tomaba las aguas del manantial de la Fuenfría, a unos 15 km de la ciudad, antes de alardear de sus sillares de granito por la plaza del Azoguejo del casco urbano. Con una longitud de 18 km, una altura de 30 m y nada menos que 120 pilares, el elemento más reconocible son sus arcos, un total de 167. Aunque carecemos de menciones de época coetánea, más allá de las epigráficas, sabemos que fue iniciado en torno al año 106 d.C., en la época final del gobierno de Trajano, y concluido, posiblemente, en tiempos de Antonino Pío.
